Seventh Floor of Heaven

Did you know Lombok Island? Lombok Island, Nusa Tenggara Barat is one of a beautiful place in Indonesia. Last  year, I traveled there, it’s so fun and memorable. The first time I went to holiday far enough. This trip is quite a lot of preparation, for example booking travel tickets and decide the destination in Lombok. My friends and I started that trip through Bali by plane. We layover almost two days and stayed at my friend's house in Bali while waiting for some friends who went by bus. We just walked around in Kuta and enjoy the day in Kuta beach. To get to Lombok, we cross the sea by feri ship start from Padang Bai harbour to Lembar harbour.

While in the ship, we can’t wait for the main mission. Did you know what our mission? Yeah, that’s right! The destination is Rinjani mountain. Administratively, the mountain is located in the territory of three districts: East Lombok, Central Lombok and West Lombok. It’s not easy to get to the top of Rinjani mountain. This trip requires a willingness and struggle. But, I don’t think that I'm strong, walking for fifteen hours to campsites. I felt my legs would fall out and I sputter several times. Fotunately, in trip we found natural beautiful view such as prairie, bright blue sky and certainly the hills that make us more spirit to do this. After an exhausted trip from mountain slopes, Sembalun to campsites, Plawangan , we finally arrived. We felt asleep after setting up tent because we were tired and it was late at night.

Next day, when I woke up and exit from the tent. What a beautiful it is, the sun is shining so bright and beautiful. Especially when I got to the summit, the beautiful views like hidden paradise. I like this place makes me don’t want to go home.

 

After we finished go to the top of Rinjani, we layover in a lake, Sagara Anak. In there we like found the seventh floor of  heaven. Broad and clear lake, fresh air and new friends is things we would find there. We’ve finished conquer Rinjani mountain. Our mission has successfully and means journey has ended. Before we go back to Jakarta, we didn’t forget to taste one of  the typical food of Lombok, Ayam Taliwang. The flavor of Ayam Taliwang it’s really shake up the tounge, you must try it if you go to there.

My point of view, Lombok is a place that must visited because of its narural wealth, impressive cultural and  friendly society. It makes us proud that Indonesia has the quite famous  island in the world.
